For Christmas, I received a beautiful dress from my bestfriend. I know she wants me to feel pretty, and I’m glad shes there for me. But this is the reason I feel as if I’m ugly. I can’t wear a simple dress that I want without this haunting me. I’m just sick and tired of people thinking they’re not beautiful because of their scars, but they are. Your scars are beautiful, even if they’re not physical. Embrace them.
